Why is newborn photography important?
When I was expecting my second child, I knew from experience, the first few pictures of my child with me will be so precious a few years from now. So this time around, I did not worry about my hair or hospital gown or a plethora of IV tubes around me, I held my baby close and asked my husband to take a picture of me with my precious little baby.
At that moment I knew, I would love and cherish this picture for the rest of my life. Because even though my baby was just a few hours old, he recognized when I called his name and he looked at me with his deep beautiful brown eyes.
Don’t let anyone underplay the moment you will meet your baby for the first time in your life. It's one of the most precious moments you will ever witness in your life.

Document is beautiful stage of life
I know it feels like you will forever remember how beautiful they look the first thing in the morning or how you feel when they lay their head on your chest. But that's the thing about human memory, we forget things, even the most beautiful ones. So capture these little moments, how their little hands curl around your finger and how they yawn or rub their eyes. No matter how overwhelming it feels, its actually the most beautiful phase of a baby's life!
Create Heirloom
I have box full of my daughter's pictures, her first ever outfit, her first birthday invite etc. Every now and then she asks me to get the box out and lovingly looks through its contents. She especially loves her baby pictures the most. Create this heirloom for your child, you and they will cherish it for the rest of their life.
They grow so fast!
This is the most bitter sweet one! They do grow up so fast! One minute you have a sweet little newborn and the next they are graduating high school. Time is such a thief. Don't let this time go by undocumented.
