What is a lifestyle newborn photo session and why you need it!
When I brought my new baby daughter home, I was in awe of this little human being. Sometimes I could not believe she was here with me. I wanted to capture all of her little details, how she slept on me after her feedings, how she sometimes smiled in her sleep. How cute she and my husband looked sleeping after staying up the entire night.
I always wanted to remember these small newborn moments.
At my lifestyle newborn photoshoots, this is what I want to capture for you. Here's what my Newborn photo sessions look like.
Relaxed and Laid Back Newborn Photo session
There's one thing I promise you, I will never rush you at your session. I know babies need their time to feel comfortable. We go about the session catering to the needs of this tiny human, soothing, cuddling and singing lullabies. I am here to capture the story of your new family and stories cannot be rushed.
Organic Poses for your Newborn
I love babies and I believe they beautiful and perfect just as they are. I do not prop babies against a fake swings or swaddle them in in-organic poses. Babies are their happiest when they are nice and cozy in their parents arm and not lying in a basket all by themselves. I set them up against a beautiful background and let them do baby things!
Comfort and Safety is a priority
No baby is comfortable hanging from a swing or dressed in frills or lace. Comfort and Safety of your baby is my first priority. I will never put baby in any unsafe location or force any pose on them. A content baby, safely tucked in his/her parents arms is the happy reality of babyhood and that is what I want to preserve for you.
Lots of Feeding and Changing breaks
I have not done one newborn session where the baby did not need a feeding or a changing break. As much as we want our babies to follow a schedule, we know they are unpredictable. I will never have a baby with an unmet need posing for me. So we will take as many feeding or changing breaks as the baby needs.
I want to capture this beautiful connection and the undying love you have for your baby. The time that you are living right now, is the most beautiful time! You will miss all this newborn goodness when they grow up. So relax and let me preserve this beautiful story for you!
