You have waited for this miracle for a long time and you are finally here! It's a mix of anxiety and overwhelming joy! You never want to forget this beautiful journey to meet the love of your life. You are ready to preserve these memories forever and book yourself a Maternity Photoshoot. Chances are this is the first photoshoot you are booking outside of your Wedding photoshoot. The process can be very overwhelming to say the least. Here’s how you can book your Maternity Photoshoot:
: A lot of photographers get booked months in advance. So start the process early.
2. Style: Figure out what kind of pictures you want. Do you want a beach session or a fall maternity photoshoot? Do you want images with wind swept hair or do you want a studio setup with makeup and hair nicely done? Do you want candid images of you and your partner or do you prefer more posed images? Before you move any further, look at Pinterest or Instagram to see what images speak to you, chances are when you are going through the images you will figure out exactly what you love.
3. Find the right Photographer: Now that you know what kind of images you want, look for a photographer whose images match your vision. This is a very important step. You cannot find a lifestyle photographer and expect them to deliver posed studio images.
4. Fill that contact form and give as many details! The more you discuss your expectations and apprehensions with your photographer the higher the chances of no-surprises later on. It also helps you pick the photographer that will actually be able to work around your vision and deliver the end product you are looking for.
5 Finalize a date that works for the both of you. Preferably something in your early third trimester.
